1. Scope of this payment policy
This Payment Policy applies to payments made to Quick Count Tech for services purchased through our website, invoices, quotations, proposals or other authorised sales channels.
By making a payment, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the applicable service description, pricing, project scope, Terms & Conditions, Refund & Cancellation Policy and other applicable policies.
2. Currency and displayed prices
Unless otherwise clearly stated, prices applicable to customers in Pakistan are displayed or invoiced in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Where a price is displayed in another currency, the amount charged may be subject to exchange rates, conversion fees and charges applied by the customer's bank, card issuer or payment service provider.
Quick Count Tech is not responsible for exchange-rate differences or conversion charges imposed independently by a financial institution or payment provider.
3. Accepted payment methods
Quick Count Tech may accept payments through one or more authorised methods made available on the website, checkout page, quotation or invoice.
These may include:
- online payment gateway transactions;
- bank transfer or electronic fund transfer;
- payment links;
- other authorised digital payment methods; or
- another method specifically confirmed by Quick Count Tech.
The payment methods available to a particular customer may vary depending on the service, invoice value, currency, payment provider and transaction requirements.
Customers should make payments only through payment instructions officially provided by Quick Count Tech.
Electronic payment systems in Pakistan operate within a regulatory framework overseen by the State Bank of Pakistan, including the Payment Systems & Electronic Fund Transfers Act, 2007.
4. Advance, milestone and full payments
Depending on the service or project, Quick Count Tech may require:
- full payment in advance;
- an initial advance or deposit;
- milestone-based payments; or
- another payment schedule stated in the applicable quotation or agreement.
The exact amount and payment schedule will be communicated before the customer is required to pay.
Where an advance or deposit is required, project commencement may be conditional upon successful confirmation of that payment.
Subsequent work or final delivery may also be conditional upon payment of outstanding milestone or balance amounts.
5. Payment confirmation
A payment is considered successfully received only after it has been confirmed through Quick Count Tech's receiving bank, payment gateway, payment service provider or authorised payment system.
An attempted payment, pending transaction, payment screenshot, bank debit notification or temporary authorisation does not by itself constitute final settlement where the transaction has not been successfully received or confirmed.
After successful confirmation, an order, project or invoice may be marked as paid and processed according to the applicable Service Delivery / Fulfilment Policy.
6. Failed, pending or declined transactions
A payment may fail, remain pending or be declined for reasons outside Quick Count Tech's control, including:
- insufficient funds;
- bank restrictions;
- incorrect payment information;
- payment-provider risk controls;
- authentication failure;
- transaction limits;
- network or technical errors; or
- restrictions imposed by the customer's bank or payment provider.
Where a payment fails or is declined, the relevant service will not normally be considered paid until a successful transaction is confirmed.
Customers should avoid repeatedly submitting a transaction where their account has already been debited and should contact Quick Count Tech before attempting another payment.
7. Account debited but payment not confirmed
If a customer's account has been debited but Quick Count Tech has not received confirmation of the transaction, the customer should contact us with the relevant transaction details.
Quick Count Tech may review the transaction with its payment gateway, acquiring bank or payment service provider.
Depending on the payment network, an unsuccessful or reversed transaction may automatically be returned by the customer's bank or payment provider.
Where Quick Count Tech confirms that the funds were successfully received, the payment will be credited against the relevant order or invoice.
Where the funds were not received by Quick Count Tech, any reversal timeframe will generally depend on the customer's bank, card issuer or payment service provider.
8. Duplicate payments
If the same invoice or order is accidentally paid more than once and Quick Count Tech confirms receipt of the duplicate amount, the customer should notify us as soon as possible.
A verified duplicate payment may, depending on the circumstances:
- be applied as credit with the customer's approval; or
- be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Any refund of a duplicate transaction will be subject to transaction verification and applicable banking or payment-provider processing times.
9. Taxes, duties and statutory charges
Prices may be subject to applicable taxes, withholding requirements, duties, levies or other statutory charges required under Pakistani law.
Where applicable, such amounts may be:
- included in the displayed price;
- separately identified on an invoice; or
- deducted or collected according to applicable legal requirements.
Where a customer is required by law to deduct or withhold an amount from a payment, the customer should provide appropriate evidence or documentation of that deduction where applicable.
The applicable tax treatment may vary according to the nature of the service, customer and transaction.
10. Bank, gateway and third-party charges
Banks, payment gateways, card networks, payment service providers or other third parties may impose processing fees, transfer charges, currency conversion charges or similar fees.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such third-party charges are not part of Quick Count Tech's service fee.
Where a gateway or transaction charge is non-refundable to Quick Count Tech, that amount may also be non-refundable to the customer to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of the relevant payment provider.
This should also be read together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Payment security and third-party processing
Quick Count Tech takes reasonable measures to use authorised payment channels for customer transactions.
Where payment is made through a third-party payment gateway, bank or payment service provider, payment information may be processed by that provider in accordance with its own security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Quick Count Tech does not control the internal processing systems of independent banks or payment providers.
Customers should not send sensitive payment credentials such as PINs, passwords or one-time authentication codes to Quick Count Tech employees through email, messaging platforms or other informal channels.
SBP's framework recognises electronic fund transfers and electronic commerce as part of Pakistan's regulated payment ecosystem.
12. Invoices and transaction records
Quick Count Tech may issue invoices, payment confirmations, receipts or other transaction records electronically.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact details where required.
Electronic records and communications are used extensively in modern commercial transactions in Pakistan; the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002 provides the federal legal framework relating to electronic transactions and records.
13. Refunds
Payments are not automatically refundable.
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the project and is governed by Quick Count Tech's separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Factors that may be considered include:
- whether work has commenced;
- the percentage of work completed;
- milestones already approved;
- resources reserved for the project;
- third-party expenses already incurred;
- non-recoverable transaction costs; and
- the reason for cancellation.
Approved refunds will be processed according to the timeline stated in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Where reasonably possible, refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method.
14. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Quick Count Tech before initiating a chargeback or formal payment dispute so that the matter can first be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.
Where a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Quick Count Tech may provide the bank, payment gateway or payment service provider with relevant records, including:
- invoice information;
- payment confirmation;
- customer communications;
- accepted quotation or agreement;
- project activity records;
- delivery evidence;
- customer approvals; and
- other information reasonably required to respond to the dispute.
Submitting false or misleading payment disputes may result in suspension of services or other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
15. Fraud prevention and transaction verification
To protect Quick Count Tech and its customers, certain transactions may be subject to additional verification.
Where reasonably required, Quick Count Tech or its payment provider may request information necessary to verify the transaction or purchaser.
A transaction may be delayed, declined, cancelled or refunded where the payment provider identifies a security concern, suspected unauthorised payment, compliance concern or other material payment risk.
16. Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- ensuring that payment information is accurate;
- using a payment method they are authorised to use;
- reviewing the applicable package and price before payment;
- reviewing the applicable project scope;
- providing accurate billing details; and
- contacting us promptly if they identify a payment error or unauthorised transaction.
17. Changes to pricing
Quick Count Tech may update service prices from time to time.
A price change will not normally change the agreed amount for an already accepted and paid project unless:
- the customer requests additional work;
- the approved project scope changes;
- additional third-party services are requested; or
- both parties otherwise agree in writing.
The price displayed or quoted at the time an order is accepted will generally govern that transaction.
18. Applicable law
This Payment Policy is governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.
For transactions and customers connected with our Pakistan operations, relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks may include Pakistan's electronic transaction and payment-system laws and applicable consumer-protection requirements.
Quick Count Tech is based in Karachi, Sindh. The Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014 provides a consumer-protection framework within Sindh, while payment-system oversight at the national level is exercised by the State Bank of Pakistan.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude any right or obligation that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
